1. Is there a fee to review posts and apply for a job?
No, reviewing the posts and applying is at no cost to Applicants.
Our goal is to keep the process as simple and direct as possible.
Each post will have an email (or other) link to the actual employer/recruiter that is hiring.
No log in is required and no data is collected from the Applicant.
2. Some job websites have many duplicate listings of the same position, how does CaliFAN avoid this?
Many job sites use web crawlers that scan other websites and pick up their listings.
That’s why a job site that indicates it has 500 jobs actually has a lot less due to duplicates.
At CaliFAN jobs we make every attempt to avoid duplicate jobs.
If you see one, let us know!
3. How current are the listed jobs?
Each listing displays the date the post was made.
New jobs are entered every day.
Employers/Recruiters can choose to post for either 30 or 60 days, at their discretion.
After the time period expires, the post is removed unless the Employer/Recruiter asks for an extension.
If we are advised sooner that the position has been filled, the post is immediately removed.
4. How are posting categories determined?
The employer/recruiter posting the job decides on the category best descriptive of the position.
However there can be overlap. For example if the State of California has an opening for a “Public Health Nutritionist” it could be listed under “Public Health/Community Nutrition” or “State/Federal Government”.
A “Dietary Manager” position could appear under “DSS/CDM/Dietetic Technician” or “Food Service”.
It pays to look at all the categories.
5. Can I post my resume for employers/recruiters to review?
Not at this time. We expect to add this feature shortly.
1. How do I post a job with CaliFAN Jobs?
Just click “Recruiter” on the home page to create your account.
After that just “LOGIN” and enter the job information on the form.
There is a $40.00 fee to post a job for 30 days.
If you feel that more time is needed, there is a $60.00 fee to post for 60 days.
Please advise us when the position is filled so we can remove from the site.
2. How do I pay for the post?
After completing the form, you will be directed to PayPal.
You can use any major credit card or your PayPal account.
3. What if I require an invoice?
If your system requires an invoice, send the job information to Info@califanjobs.com.
We will post and you can review on the site.
We will make any edits, if needed, and issue an invoice.
Payment terms are net 30 days.
4. Does CaliFAN offer quantity discounts?
If you have multiple listings on a regular basis, contact Dan@califanjobs.com to discuss your requirements.
5. Are advertising opportunities available?
We have a limited number of spaces available for banner ads.
